Yeah, I didn't mention that part about enabling DRI (I hope it doesn't 
come to that!).  If so, you will have to try adding these lines in your 
/etc/X11/xorg.conf (will need to be root user):

(In the "Module" section)
      Load "dri"

(...and at the end of the file...)
Section "dri"
     Mode 0666
EndSection

Oh, and in answer to your question- Yep, grep just displays the lines 
where the string "DRI" exists (very useful for trolling logs!)

Graphics cards in Linux is a tricky subject and can be very difficult to 
get going correctly.  Very few card manufacturers provide official linux 
drivers, and I'm sorry to say, I don't think yours does, so it *might* 
not be possible to use the the acceleration features of your card in 
linux at all! :(  (ie. you will have to run in 'Software Emulation' mode)
