I've seen a few articles on Linux in popular computer mags lately where they
suggest that the lack of a desktop Linux penetration in the market is due to
the lack of any OEM/system builder program, so buying new PC's with Linux
preinstalled  basically doesn't happen. Often you finish up paying for & not
using Windows to purchase a PC to run Linux.

This makes for an intersting initiative looking to address this issue.

We have discussed in the past providing some sort of support for vendors
looking to supply Linux based PC's, this is an alternative approach.
