[wellylug] WellyLUG activity in the Hutt

It appears that the Hutt LUG has all but died.  Is there still support 
for a support group here in the Hutt or will we all have to use up 
precious natural resources and travel into Wellington for the main LUG 
event?  I know that have not made meetings on a regular basis, but have 
found it really helpful when I have managed to get along.

Maybe we need to be more organised in having some planned presentations/ 
demo's that will make it a more attractive and worthwhile evening.  I 
certainly found Brent's presentations on mapping facinating even though 
it was not something I was needing to do at the time.  As a relative 
newby I am certainly no Linux expert, but I could possible do something 
on Open Office, which I do no my way around quite well.

What is everyone else's views on the matter?
