KDict, Serpento and the various dictionaries that supports are pretty
good.  I like 'dict-gcide' and 'dict-wn', with the full list found by:

    apt-cache search '^dict-'

kdict can also talk to other online services that offer the 'dict'
protocol, not that I am particularly aware of any.

Those are all from universe, though, and I don't believe there is any
native 'dict' support in main.
