CTRL + ALT + F1 will give you a console only login, meaning it will drop
you into a command line, rather than loading the graphical desktop.

Don't apt-get remove ksnapshot, as that will remove all of KDE as well,
due to its dependencies.

There is something else odd going on. Until we figure out what is going
on, you could rename the binary to temporarily disable it:

sudo mv /usr/bin/ksnapshot /usr/bin/ksnapshot.WTF
