I think Ubuntu should support the SiS 630 card, googling suggests that
people have difficulty getting 3D support working, but we're just
after "anything" at the moment :-)

I don't see anything in your earlier posts that says which version of
Ubuntu you're using, that would be nice to know. When the CD starts I
think there's a version to "run in safe mode" - does that work better
for you?
