[wellylug] Booting from a CF card

Hi, I'm wanting to convert an old laptop (Dell D600) into a photoframe
machine, and as such I'm reducing the weight and power requirements.

I'd want to remove the CD and HDD drives, and to boot from a Compact
Flash card I've got. I'm looking for any recommendations for the
mechanism to connect the CF card to the laptop!

I can go for a PCMCIA adaptor, laptop sized HDD card, or just a
CF->mobile IDE converter. Does anyone have a recommendation for
approach and/or local supplier?
