[wellylug] Looking for an installation CD to rebuild my home PC

Hi,

I would appreciate help getting a bootable CD that will install Linux
on my system.  I realise it can be downloaded but I am limited to
using internet cafes until I get my home PC running again.  I can pick
up anywhere within central Wellington or I'll provide my postal
address if you would prefer to post.  Also would appreciate any
pointers about getting started using linux environment.

I'm trying to rebuild my home PC (old and slow) after a corrupted hard
drive took out my system and guess what?  I'm sick of windows.  So I
want to install Linux from fresh on a clean system.

I'm pretty much new to Linux - I used RedHat in physics dept of Otago
Uni a few years ago but thats it.  I'm fairly savvy with computers
having worked as an electronics engineer but have always had a nice IT
team to build my PC for me at work so I'm new to installing an OS from
scratch.
