[wellylug] Meeting 17th Dec / Meetings next year

hi all,

Wellylug's last meeting of 2007 will be on the 27th - that's this
Monday.

I will be doing a presentation on Xen virtualization, explaining the
technology, what you can do with it, and various demonstrations.


NEXT YEAR'S DATES

The meeting dates for next year have not yet been decided, I will talk
to Silverstripe and see if they are able to host us again next year.

Can I please get back feedback from people regarding the best day of the
week for them? This year I've been cycling the meetings from Mon-Thur -
has this been beneficial to people, or would it be better to have the
meetings on a fixed day of the week?

I have created a poll on the Wellylug website, so if you attend
meetings, please take the time to place your vote.


UPCOMING MEETINGS

I have a few presentations that I plan todo next year on the concepts
and implementations of Linux clustering and storage management, with a
focus on Redhat distributions.

I was recently over in Melbourne doing the Redhat 36 course and exam,
which is covers Linux HA clustering, shared storage, LVM, global
filesystem and more.
