[wellylug] Monthly meetings

The meetings are yet-another-avenue; if you stop them they are very hard 
to stop again.

Further there are many people who relate in-person better than they can do 
via a mailing list / website / whatever.  Continuing having the meetings 
gives people opportunity to 'stop in' where they otherwise would be at a 
loss.

It doesn't need to be flash; projector (et al) is a nice-to-have. All you 
need at the end of the day is a largeish room, some chairs, 
light/heat/power.

Noting that most LUGs started by meeting in peoples livingrooms / 
garages...

I generally can't make LUGs due to my Fire Service committments but this 
isn't to say I don't reccomend attendance to those that I meet with a 
genuine interest, but otherwise no confidence in their ability to deal 
with things via electronic means, as an example...
