I can't help but think you missed the opportunity embedded in:

You remember machines with 9 bit bytes and 36 bit words.

You thought XML was a great idea when it was invented, back in '64.

You know why Multics had more security than anything since.

You worked on a machine with thirty other people -- and 256KB of RAM.
