Wow !! this is complete.... thanks a lot.
I tried to add the magic cookie but xauth seems to be a wee bit complex.
Xhost + did not improve at all the situation.
And I did put in the proper numbers for the display.

Back to RTFM, at least I know where to look.
And if the result is not good enough ... well I'll need a better screen 
or something can grade to broadcasting standard
