Hi Brent,
(1), I suggest you subscribe to the 'community' mailing
list, details below. I've been a subscriber since OpenMoko was
publicly announced, but I've not had the time to follow it in
detail. Recently the main developer admitted he had been avoiding it
for other reasons - commercial espionage by competitors
such as Apple's iPhone or Nokia's N95 (which includes GPS).
Nevertheless, it is the source to follow ..

(2), I presume it would work with whichever network
you are subscribed to .. see (1) above.
(3) I won't be buying the release version,
but would certainly be interested if it were
brought to a Wellylug meeting in the near future.
We could perhaps raffle one for Wellylug ..
