[wellylug] A request to the Wellington Kiwis from the Funky Penguin (and his wife) in Africa

Hi WellyLUG :)

As you know<http://lists.wellylug.org.nz/pipermail/wellylug/2007-June/017485.html>,
I'm a South African Linux Geek, and my wife and I are coming over in August
for a "prospecting" visit, prior to making our final decision about
immigration. We think that Wellington holds the most promise for us, based
on the initial research we've done, and are planning to spend a total of 5
days there (broken up over two visits). (See our agenda here :

Our mission is to see as much of the city / country as possible, and to meet
as many of the people as possible. To this end, I have a request...

Would anybody be willing to put us up for a night or two? We're
well-behaved, friendly people, we don't smoke, snore, or sleepwalk naked. We
love animals, leave the toilet seat down, have our own transport, and we'll
even help with the dishes. We won't be sleeping out on the street if you say
no, this is simply a great way to meet real Kiwis, as well as to save (a
lot!) on accommodation.
