Pretty much.
ssh on Linux assumes you have the same user name on the remote box as the
current one. So unless you tell it differently, it will try to connect using
that name as its default.
Given that anyone sitting at your PC logged in as you should be you, or can
find out what your login name (not password) is so easily, this is not a really
security issue to worry about as far as ssh is concerned. It's more about
access to your PC/login.
