Generally the wireless networking issues can be resolved OK with ndis wrappers.

Not perfect, but pretty good value

Around $2400 incl GST.


The older model thinkpad X60 is still around, but will probably cost $3000 or
more...


Lenovo seems to put it's Laptops through keylabs Linux tests for
server/workstations, which is unusual, but worth checking out.
