Well,

There certainly seems to be lots of interest in LINUX folk, to keep 
installing different distros of LINUX, over and over again.

I personally don't see the point in it, as I primarily just want 
something stable, to serve the interface between my hardware and my 
application programs.  For me, the emails, spread sheets, documents, 
videos, games are the primary motivation.  I've wasted enough time 
already, just porting over data, and configuring & fine tuning the apps 
packages.

Oh God, I've turned into a lowly "user"!
