[wellylug] Fixed Perms Prob on Ekiga, only to affect Mutt ..

Hi,

    after changing permissions to fix a gconf problem to allow Ekiga to
work,

> $ chmod -R 4755 /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults

I find that I cannot save or delete messages from Mutt (but had just
upgraded to Icedove 2.0.0.4), getting

> octets)..procmail: Lock failure on "/var/mail/adam.lock"

and when trying to delete Mutt msgs get told that 'Mailbox is read-only'.

I'd like to get back to a text-based console, as much as I appreciate
2.0.0.4 .. I think the 's' below may be the problem
but have not been able to change it.
