Getting to Feisty from where you are involves two steps, one 6.04 
(Breezy Badger?) and one to 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). Both are 'dist upgrades' 
and either may cause you problems. (Or may go through without major 
problems, as mine did).

Basically you click on the upgrade button and that's it (apart from the 
download of gazillions of new packages, that is). That'll take you to 
6.04. Then you do it again to get to 7.04.

I'd consider reinstalling. The advantage of that is that nothing will 
fail but the disadvantage is that you will have to **backup** all your 
data, install and configure everything again.

Even if you choose the upgrade route your should backup your important data.

That's about it.

Did I mention backing up your important data?
