Here I am now with a new install of 6.06lTS over my messed up upgrade
attempt, I kept my partition with my home dir in and all my stuff seems to be there.
(I am back on the old breezy drive now due to problems see below)

I just spent a fun 3 hours getting things to work, got thunderbird mail, got fetchmail,
got mutt, the printer etc.

My Firefox is now 1.5.0.12 and guess what it has no plugins. (about:plugins)

So if anyone could please answer my original question, how do I please get
flash for firefox. All I can find on the web is to get an .rpm of the flash plugin
and then get something called alien. Is this the best and easiest way?

On breezy as firefox had no flash I used mozilla browser for a couple of sites
that needed flash but now with 6.06 it seems I cannot get/install mozilla any longer?

On a side note my remaining problems are

console - no mouse
editor - no mc available have nano
mutt - cannot write a new mail - empty mail screen does not open
mutt - cannot reply to a mail, cannot get into the original mail (editor issues?)

I have had an offer of help for this saturday from someone on the list but if anyone
can assist me online then I can save that person's time. I realise not everyone is
into mutt and I may still have to go and get help with that part.

thanks a lot
best regards
Lyndsay
