Someones been under a rock ;-)
The only filtering that should be happening is that Port 25/TCP to hosts
other than Xtra's specified SMTP servers is blocked for Xtra customers.
If you're using a port other than 25, you shouldn't be hindered. Try
telnet on the specified port and see if you get a banner up?
