Hi,

I'm not sure what you are asking. My guess is that you have three 
physical volumes in one volume group? That essentially gets you the 
space of all three added together. You can allocate the space to logical 
volumes as you wish and then treat the LVs as physical disks, 
partitioning them and formatting them as you require.

The big thing about LVM is that you can resize the LVs on the fly (and 
then adjust the PT and filesystems as necessary).
