Open Systems Specialists have let us use their boardroom for our last
meeting this year (thanks guys!). :-)

Meeting Events:

1. Presentation on Linux I/O performance and test results

I have recently been running tests on different filesystems and I/O
layers to determine optimal I/O performance for Linux servers.

I have done tests comparing XFS and ext3 filesystems along with IO
impact of virtualization, disk encryption and different RAID
configurations.

I will be presenting what I found, as well as a few issues I found
whilst testing.


2. Fedora 10

I have downloaded the Fedora 10 i386 DVD - if you want a copy, please
email me in advance, and I will burn you one.


3. Demo iPod running open-source rocksbox on display



If anyone else would like to make a presentation, please do! Drop me an
email and I'll make sure to give you time. It's the last meeting of the
year, so it would be great it if we can fill it up with exciting stuff.
