It's very hard to give a definitive answer, as manufacturers change
chipsets at will, even without changing the model number or any other
product description.  Linux support for various chipsets is no doubt
getting better, but as I understand it the situation is still that
unless 1) you're using x86 AND 2) you're prepared to steal drivers
from Windows then you still have to be pretty careful which adaptors
you buy.
