[wellylug] Installing Ubuntu on older PC

Wow. I think I've fallen in love with xfce. Just installed it on my Fedora machine, and 
it's going like I always thought it ought to. Thanks for the (indirect) hint. I might try 
xubuntu as my next distro, now.
