Well, for me, if they want a .doc, i usually just send them a .doc - of
course its going to be generated by OpenOffice, and please, i'm hardly
going to piss about with saving as rtf and renaming...to what end?

I mean, even when i was working at Catalyst - hardly a hotbed of
thou-shalt-use-Microsoft activity my boss would ask me for word docs -
I'm not going to throw a hissy fit about it. I guess I have bigger fish
to fry.

All i'm saying is that I think making character judgements about people
based on the software they use is a pretty poor way to assess them. I
guess I would take the whole issue more seriously if I didn't constantly
run into people who tried OpenOffice and found it a poor substitute for
Word.

Do you hardliners have similar problems with the use of Samba, WINE etc.?
