[wellylug] Mandrake Question

There are some usb bugs in the kernel on mandrake 9.2 cds.
It causes a kernel panic.
the solution is to upgrade the kernel.
2.4.22.21mdk seems be immune. - but i've been told it isn't fully fixed until 2.6, which i aint ready to do yet.

This might not be what's going on for your mum.
/var/log/syslog will tell you more.
