It's worth pointing out _why_ they are doing this, since the website
doesn't mention it:

Codeweavers promised to give away their software for a day if one of
five things happened during the remainder of the Bush administration.
One of those things was the average petrol price in (I think) New York
falling below a certain threshold.  This happened a little while ago,
hence the giveaway.

Another event was the average price of milk falling below a certain
level, which is getting close, so there might be another giveaway day
in the near future.
