[wellylug] Membership database

Hi all, 

Just wondering if anyone has used or knows of a browser based membership database I might be able to adapt to use to control membership of a non-profit music organisation I'm involved with - it's a paid annual subscription, and involves students and teachers so the needs are reasonably simple - I need to track the usual personal details like name and address, plus branch, teacher(s), instrument(s), registration status and probably things like teacher registration status for the teachers. As such, the ability to customise is king, but simplicity for a non developer like myself is very important as well. 

I've suggested that we link that to an online sign up form and potentially Paypal payments - but the most important thing is that it's able to be shared and we can use a query to pull out things like "give me all the members in Wellington". 

Suggestions very gratefully received!
