Something like -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--7-50-100-100-c-50-iso8859-1,
would be my guess.

You can find these bitmap fonts, if your distro is anything like mine,
in /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc (from which path I guess they must come
with X11).  A fonts.alias file in that directory maps the files in
there to human readable names.
