At the moment I would say that you don't "need" an antivirus program for
linux because although linux does have security flaws, it is much more
secure than other operating systems. But having AVG can come in handy when
you are sharing files between multiple computers, some with windows and some
with GNU/Linux, in case somebody hands you a flash drive filled with nasties
it won't be able to do anything with your Fedora install, but it will save
the next windows user from getting infected:p
