[wellylug] Interesting Ubuntu mirror routing for Telstra cable customers

This is probably not news to people who've been following the NZ peering
debacle more closely than me, but...

nz.archive.ubuntu.com routes via the US to Citylink.

nz2.archive.ubuntu.com goes via a much shorter local path to a mirror at
iHug.

So of course using the number 2 mirror improves my update speed by a
considerable margin.

Having discovered this, my next question is: is there an even better
Ubuntu mirror for TelstraClear modem users? I know Paradise has a Debian
mirror, but there doesn't seem to be an Ubuntu one.
