I have installed Unbuntu # 9.04. All ok.

I am bringing the PC to Sunday's SFD. After, hopefully,
partitioning the HDD, I have a question.

Will the Ubuntu OS survive the partitioning? (the
installation is across the entire HDD)

If not, a fresh install will solve things.

What I am aiming for is selective dual booting from Ubuntu
and Fedora.

I want to be in a situation where I can upgrade,
independently, whatever version of Ubuntu or Fedora I happen
to have installed.
