$#&%*$, their support is already pretty abysmal, soon I won't even be
able to understand what they're saying on the phone when it goes to the
lowest bidder offshore support center. :-(

Problem is that pretty much the other option in most areas is just DSL
which brings a whole bunch of other issues....
At one stage I had a naked DSL plan with xnet which was great until the
phone line started experiencing problems and I ended up getting bounced
between Telecom and Xnet techs with the result that I ended up moving
out the flat a month later with the issue still ongoing since Telecom
were still tracking down the problem.
For me any replacement needs to non-phone based, I'm near the CBD so
might see if I can get a wireless link of some kind... or maybe try and
get wifi to the Amberdms office (line of sight, 4km)... ;-)
