Add the option "-threads 8" to your ffmpeg command as this makes it run
multithreaded, but I'm sure you know this :-)

(Actually 180FPS is not quite true if you consider I did the 2 pass
process)

Indeed.  I have had some scares and needed to run the bios corrupt
recovery procedure on some boards, and it aint fun, when you do it to a
new $250 mainboard, especially with deadlines looming.
