What? Mine clocks at 3.2Ghz unless I load the powernow-k8 module which
defaults to using the ondemand governer.
You should be able to either unload the powernow-k8 module or change the
governor to performance which will push it to full speed all the time.
But I suspect that you may have an i/o bottleneck as the the cpu should
automatically ramp up to full speed when you start something like ffmpeg
processing. I do know there has been issues reported on the linux-raid
mailing list with opensuse v11 and raid, but that so far has only
effected intel chipsets.
