Interesting, there are always several whenever I look about.
However if you mean it's hard to find a listing of entry level Linux
jobs, then yes,that is a problem, but more a problem in that it's hard
to find entry level jobs in most areas of IT.

An enterprise/larger company will want commercial experience (at least a
couple years), but smaller companies are more interested in
capabilities, so if you have the skills and can demonstrate accordingly,
they'll be open to giving you the opportunity.
My approach to getting started in IT was to work for a smaller firm and
then use that experience to take on other opportunities in future.

This is key. People skills are very important.

Actually, Weta has quite a bad reputation for poor working condition,
crappy hours and mediocre pay from several people I've spoken to.
But it does look good on the CV I guess.
