Hi Neil,

Thanks for that - the first few commands pretty much sort it out.
Seems the key is to avoid setting an IP address. Wireshark can still
'see' it, but Linux doesn't try to use it for anything.

All good now - happily transmitting arbitrary ethernet frames with
ostinato and monitoring them with wireshark :)
