[wellylug] disposing of electronics

There's a once-a-year collection for dead or unwanted electronics, but
what about in between?

I need to dispose of a combination of dead, dying, and some working bits
- machines, boards, cables, housings, etc.  Can anyone recommend who to
contact?

It won't be a lot - just a couple of boxes in all.

I live in Mt. Victoria, Wellington.  Thanks for pointers.
