hi Kingsley,

I spoke with the admin running that server to confirm what the
background of it was.

"claudius.sitharus.com is one of the services in what used to be the
irc.nzwired.net pool. NZWired is no more though, so the servers are
irc.sitharus.com, irc.interface.org.nz and irc.m.ac.nz. I could set up a
round-robin entry somewhere."

I'm sure there used to be some #wellylug rooms on other servers/networks
in the past as well.

Anyone using any other #wellylug chat rooms elsewhere?
