It appears my Intel Thinkpad will support 2048x1536 resolution.
Presumably the NVidia NV140m version will support at least as much.
FWIW according to Lenovo:
Docking station-
Video Ports: Dual-Link DVI-D Digital, VGA Analog
Allows for two monitors (one digital and one analog) to attach.
Dual-Link DVI-D Digital support up to 2560 x 1600 resolution
VGA analog supports 1920 x 1200 resolution
Perhaps I will find a reason to only bother with 1920x1200 pixel
monitors, but I'll keep searching before I make my choice.
I have no interest in gaming, but I code, and I am happy to use the
extra pixels to form better characters, as well as better graphics.
Cheers,
Bret
