Sounds good to me, I like python but I have no clue what a MLT is! ;)
Update: Just had a look on [1], fancy show up something as an example?
Is it about "super-imposing" videos in each other?
I won't come with something to show unfortunately (ordering on the way), 
but I would love to watch/listen anyone with a demo!
