Hi All,

The meeting this month will have Brent Wood giving us a demo of a GIS workstation, what once
would have cost $3000+ now can run on desktop hardware with FOSS. Should be interesting.

Unfortunately I can't make it due to prior commitments, but Michael Fincham from Catalyst has
offered to be there to open the doors. If you are late, there should be a phone number on the
door to call to get in, but if you arrive before 6pm, then there shouldn't be an issue.

Big thanks to Michael for helping me run this user group now that I am no longer employed by
Catalyst, and big thanks to Catalyst for continuing to lend their space for this.

I'll see what I can arrange in terms of snacks and refreshments.
