P.S. - I don't currenttly attend the meeting but I'm just
wondering - Monday night's meeting is still on at this stage, isn't it?

Thanks for the offer, I've had one other offer of hosting for the
mailing
list so I'll wait and see what he comes back with. At this stage it
looks,
in all honesty, like I will be folding the group since the support is
not
there for it. People are quite happy to turn up at meetings but leave me
to
do all of the organizing and running around.
It may be that I keep the group going, but in a very different form to
what
it is at the moment, I need to find somewhere where we can have
meetings
that is FREE and will just leave it to fate what happens each month. I
will
also be trying to have a venue where we do not have to hold a key so that
if
I cannot make a meeting its not a major distaster.

You will notice that I've copied this to the mailing list and I've done
this
for the express purpose that members need to know whats going on and what
I
am thinking of doing. If people can come up with some ideas on how we
can
keep the groups going at MINIMAL cost and without relying on one person
to
make things happen please feel free to post a message to the
list.

We can hopefully continue to have a club but it depends on being able
to
find a free venue (to make it more accessible for people and easier on
the
origanizer(s)), and taking away the reliance that we have on me to
organize
each months meeting. I really would not like to see the group go away but
we
all need to work together to find a way to make in keep on
going.
