<FONT SIZE="3">Yes. Laptops don't like to be highly upgradable, so you can only have one drive in it at a time.<BR>
<BR>
Just find someone with a big hard drive, create a samba/nfs share on it, & copy your files to it.<BR>
<BR>
Then, after you install the new drive & linux, move the files from the share back over.<BR>
