I'm a long-time Linux user/software developer from Seattle who will be traveling to NZ for a few months. I will be in the Wellington area for most of Jan and Feb 2004. I've been to Wellington before, but only for a few days, so I have some technical questions :-)<BR>

Does anyone know of a GPG key signing get together during that time?<BR>

Are there any free 802.11a/b wireless access points in downtown? Especially nice would be something near to the Cuba Mall and Ghuznee St. area, but I'll go out of my way for a good connection!<BR>

Of course I could run kismet on my Linux palm top and scan for networks while I'm walking around, but when you find networks that way it can be hard to tell if they are intentionally open or just poorly configured..<BR>
