When the volume is created, a random encryption key is generated and encrypted with your password. When you mount the filesystem your password is used to decrypt that key and then the key is used for the files.. That way it is possible to change the user-supplied password without having to re-encode all files. I haven't yet supplied a utility to change the password though.<BR>
