Next time I suggest getting a Eneramx or OCZ.

I have never seen anything worth looking at that is made by thermaltake.

If you go to some forums around the net, you will find that thermaltake
PSUs are just rebranded cheep PSUs. I didn't believe it myself, but
when I saw the pictures, I was like -- ok...

My friend got a thermaltake case - the Tsunami. The made it with Al,
but knowing Thermaltake, you get the usual crap.

This doesn't surprise me in the slightest that this happened to you, in
fact I was waiting for it to happen in a way.
People on OCNZ have had cheep PSUs burn stuff up. So you were lucky
that it didn't take anything else with it.

see... Ever wonder where your PSU was actually made?
Regarding Ascent...
I have spoke with there technition, and he is OK - nothing special. A
tip for returning products is always go and ask strait for the manager
- it works very well. That way you don't have to wait for the the
middle man. Just seems you have bad luck. I don't know why so much of
your stuff blows up, it could just be bad luck but I think you should
do a lot more research on a product before you go buying random
thermaltake products.

Good luck on the return. :-) <span
