Hello

Does anyone know how to:

1. copy the contacts from an Evolution address book to a .CSV format file?

2. how to edit a CSV file to remove extra fields (would OpenOffice spreadsheet work)?

I need the CSV file so Telecom can copy our contacts into a new mobile phone - their usual system for doing this does not recognise our old mobile.

I tried using the "evolution-addressbook-export" command, but got a "permission denied" response. Perhaps this reflects my inexperience at using the terminal. Our computer runs Ubuntu Dapper.

Thanks

Joseph
