Hi all<BR>

I have something odd here on my latop.<BR>

Dmesg indicates me that my DVD drive is here, but it seems that the /dev/hdc has disappeared.<BR>

Can I recreate it with mknod? if so what are the minor and major # for that ?<BR>

No need to say that it worked Ok before ... <BR>

<BR>

Distro is Ubuntu 6.1 for 64 X2 AMD<BR>
